Welcome to a beautiful space where children of all ages create positive experiences that lead to a lifetime of healthy smiles.
We offer little smiles personalized solutions with a focus on minimally invasive practices and prevention.
Your child's 20 baby teeth will begin to appear usually between 6 - 9 months, though in some cases it may start as early as 3 months or as late as 12 months. The 2 lower front teeth tend to erupt first, followed by the two upper ones. The first molars come in next, followed by the canines (eyeteeth). To help with teething discomfort, wipe your child’s gums and newly erupting teeth with a water-soaked gauze pad or damp washcloth.
Primary teeth guide the eruption of permanent (adult) teeth, holding the space into which these new teeth will erupt. For about the first six years, primary teeth help with biting, chewing and speaking. Until around age 12, your child will have a mix of primary and permanent teeth. You will want to make sure those teeth stay healthy and are lost naturally — when it's time.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children see a dentist by their first birthday. At this visit, we can begin to educate you and your child on proper at-home oral healthcare. Here, we will begin to assess growth and development - like dietary, nutrition concerns, and proper breathing.
Around age 2, we encourage you to establish a daily brushing routine with a small, soft-bristled toothbrush and no more than a thin smear of toothpaste, such as Risewell or Elementa. Your child may need your help with this important task until about the age of 10.
We empower parents and kiddos with the education and treatment for happy, healthy smiles.
We focus on oral health to enhance overall physical health. This approach to functional or whole-health dentistry means we encourage proper nutrition, offer support with vitamins and supplements, and focus on practices that help foster a healthy oral microbiome.
As your child grows, we focus on prevention and education to ensure their smile remains healthy. Our goal is to help children learn and develop consistent oral hygiene habits.
During their regular six-month appointment, your child will experience a gentle and thorough cleaning to help prevent cavities and promote overall oral health.
When indicated and possible, we use the highest quality, non-toxic materials with a tooth-colored resin to fill in cavities (BPA/bis-gma free). As a result, fillings blend in beautifully and naturally.
A BPA/bis GMA-free resin coating can be professionally applied to prevent cavities by sealing the chewing surfaces. Sealants are proven to prevent 80% of cavities over a 2 year time span.
If you are unsure if the pain your child is experiencing requires immediate attention, please call us.
With a focus on preventative dentistry, our goal is to deliver the least invasive treatments necessary to maintain your child’s optimum oral health.
Our professional whitening treatments offer safe, non-hazardous bleaching options and longer-lasting results than over-the-counter options.
